"Just one more wave."
One hour becomes two, the morning surf stretches toward lunch, and the Moroccan sun intensifies. This is exactly the kind of day Recreative Sun was made for.
The brand is the creation of two women, mothers and entrepreneurs, brought together by travel, wellness, and life by the water. Their starting point was simple: how to truly live outdoors, protecting your skin from UV rays, without looking like you are dressed only for sun protection?
Long-sleeved bodysuits, tops, bikinis, shorts, and bandanas are designed to transition seamlessly from the surf to activewear and coastal living. Ethically made in Italy, select pieces feature ECONYL, a regenerated nylon crafted from pre- and post-consumer waste.
But the real difference is invisible. On designated pieces, fabrics are certified UPF 50+, blocking at least 98% of UVA and UVB rays. On certain bodysuits, protection is in the details: extended sleeves with thumbholes to cover the hands, flatlock seams to prevent chafing, and materials engineered to endure long hours under the sun.
The brand’s vision extends beyond the swimsuit. Recreative Sun plans to collaborate with boutique hotels and intimate retreats worldwide to design destination-specific capsule collections.
Which brings us, naturally, back to Morocco.
8:12 AM, coffee. 9:03 AM, first wave. 1:00 PM, still out there. And that's just fine.
