For Andrea Blez, founder of Julietas, the story is a literal one. It all began with a piece of jewelry inherited from her grandmother—sentimoniously precious, yet far enough from her own style to languish in its box. She decided to transform it rather than part with it. From this first reinterpretation, Julietas was born in Madrid, in 2024.
Since then, the young house has focused on a discipline well known to fashion: taking a classic steeped in convention and subverting it. Here, the freshwater pearl deliberately retains its irregularities, breaking free from the traditional, perfectly ordered row. The jewelry is handcrafted to order in small series, prioritizing artisanal gesture over mass production.
The result lies somewhere between family heirloom and girl’s treasure. A pearl worn with an oversized white shirt, a tank top, or an evening gown, without waiting for weddings, baptisms, or Sunday lunches.
