"The first thing I see when I look at someone is their jewelry."
Jewelry maker, Amsterdam. Graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (2018). Electroforming technique. One-of-a-kind pieces.
Lindsey Fontijn first trains as a goldsmith at Vakschool Schoonhoven, before graduating from Amsterdam’s Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2018. Her conviction: jewelry is an extension of the self and the wardrobe; it should tell a story, stand apart, break the rules. In a world ruled by mass overproduction, she creates individual pieces, designed to evolve with the wearer. Her signature: electroforming, a technique that gives her jewelry a rare texture and presence. Collaborations with Sophi Lou, Anneleen Bertels, SZKLO.
