The Visteria Foundation was founded by Katarzyna Jordan, publisher and patron of Polish art, a partner of the Polish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, the Zachęta National Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute. Its mission: to bring the creativity of Polish designers and artists onto the international stage. Its first exhibition, in 2025 at Milan Design Week, Romantic Brutalism, will celebrate the centenary of Poland's participation in the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris. In 2026, it returns to Milan with Polish Modernism. A Struggle for Beauty on the 16th floor of the Torre Velasca, curated by Federica Sala and Anna Maga of the National Museum in Warsaw. The foundation's permanent home: Villa Gawroński in Warsaw, which will become a private museum of art and design.
