The name says it all: SERge + AXel = SERAX. Two Belgian brothers who grew up in their mother’s flowerpot business, took it over, then decided ten years later to create their own label, a design platform that collaborates with the best creators from around the world. Tableware, furniture, lighting, accessories, ceramics, everything designed in Europe, made by expert artisans in Vietnam, Portugal, and Belgium. Today led by Axel, with his wife Marie Michielssen as in-house designer. Collaborations with Ann Demeulemeester, Kelly Wearstler, Marni, Yotam Ottolenghi, Sergio Herman, Vincent Van Duysen. Henry van de Velde Award 2014, the highest distinction in design in Belgium.
