Even as a child, Victoria Beaune loved stones, with an almost obsessive preference for rings. Rather than immediately drawing them, she chose first to learn how to truly see them: gemology training at the GIA in London, valuation work at Artcurial, and then several years alongside colored stone merchants and diamond dealers on Place Vendôme. In a world where a few subtle shades, inclusions, or proportions can elevate a stone from ordinary to exceptional, she trained her eye before picking up her pencil. In 2025, she finally founded her house in Paris, numbering her creations like chapters of a single story: Ring 01, Ring 02…
Yet after the discipline of Vendôme, her inspiration turned curiously to the everyday. Victoria watches the shimmer of the Seine, the flash of a streetlamp on a wet pavement—the tiny bursts of light Paris produces without thinking—and translates them into gold lines and diamonds.
Even in her bespoke work, the focus remains on the eye. For the Custom 00, clients can select a stone with her—spinel, tourmaline, sapphire, morganite, or beryl—before she designs the piece around it. After years on Place Vendôme learning to recognize the exceptional, Victoria Beaune now seems to find her joy in spotting it elsewhere.
