Maison Matisse is a design house founded by the family of Henri Matisse—led by his great-grandson—to share and pass on the painter’s legacy. Maison Matisse is born of a legacy. It is the place created by Henri Matisse’s great-grandson to share, celebrate, and carry forward his ancestor's work, faithful to the painter's conviction: that art should be accessible to all, and beautify the everyday.
Through its Studio and collaborations with designers and ateliers, Maison Matisse translates the artist’s colorful, optimistic, and inventive universe into everyday objects: silk scarves, blankets, ceramics, carnets, and art editions. The collections are inspired by his passions—La Musique, Les Saisons—while current releases echo world exhibitions, such as the re-edition of the manifesto album Jazz in partnership with the Centre Pompidou.
