It is on a July evening in 2018 that Miguel Cancio Martins, a Portuguese architect restoring an old rice farm into a luxury hotel in Comporta, meets Marianne Brass, a French expert in cosmetic development who fell in love with the region. Together, they create Oryza Lab, a brand that brings together the cultural heritage of the Comporta rice fields, cultivated since 1925, and French cosmetic expertise. More than 3 years of research and development for 100% clean formulas, with no controversial ingredients, and each active ingredient dosed for optimal efficacy.
