Atelier Renata was born of a tribute. Erika Blu, an Italian chef based in Marseille, wanted to honor her grandmother Renata—and, through her, all those Mediterranean women who have excelled in the kitchen for generations, with no recognition but that of their families. Rather than claiming their recipes as her own, she invites them to cook alongside her.
The concept is simple: women from every corner of Italy—Naples, Tuscany, Puglia—come for a residency, each in turn, to prepare the most authentic dishes of their home regions. In the evening, some fifteen guests gather around a long table in a dimly lit room that feels like the ultimate grandmother's kitchen: tiles by Franca Atelier, family photos, antique find tableware, and a piano tucked in the corner.
An intimate table d'hôtes, just steps from Boulevard Longchamp, now casting its light all the way to Paris.
