From New Zealand to Le Bon Marché. TRONQUE has finally arrived in Paris, bringing to the body the active ingredients once reserved solely for the face.

TRONQUE was born in New Zealand in 2019, following Tanné Snowden’s second surgery for endometriosis. She emerged with five scars and a new obsession with cosmetic ingredients. After scrutinizing her bathroom, she discarded fifty-three products, keeping only three. Unable to find body care that matched the caliber of her facial skincare, she began crafting her own formulas.

Five scars. In 2019, after undergoing a grueling second eight-hour surgery for endometriosis, Tanné Snowden began looking far more closely at what she was putting on her skin every day. She drew up a list of ingredients she wanted to banish, opened her bathroom cabinet, and took stock: 53 products went into the bin; only three remained.

At the same time, she was searching desperately for something to heal her surgical scars. She bought creams, experimented with raw ingredients, and even used her own five scars as five distinct test zones to compare the results. When she decided to turn her experiments into a real product, she partnered with a formulator. It took some 200 iterations to perfect the formula for what would become the Soft Focus Scar Concentrate.

TRONQUE finally launched in 2021 with a simple premise: why reserve vitamin C, ceramides, active ingredients, and sophisticated formulations solely for the face, while the rest of our body gets by on basic moisturizer? The brand calls this “neck-down neglect” and develops targeted skincare specifically for the body, formulated and crafted in Auckland, New Zealand.

After launching at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus in the United States, followed by its first European steps in 2026, TRONQUE has now arrived in Paris, at Le Bon Marché!
