Maria de la Orden has always had a soft spot for "headwear." Together with Gregory Mizele, she made this the starting point for Maison Olà: a Paris-based house reviving the charm of boater hats, cloches, pillboxes, panamas, and headbands.
Behind their effortless air, these pieces embrace the artistry of traditional millinery. Select models are shaped by hand in France; the panamas are hand-woven in Ecuador before being blocked and finished in a French atelier. Indeed, some of the house's signature headbands require nearly three days of crafting and drying time.
