The Artists' Entrance. He says he found the place by chance, coming out of Betino, his favorite record shop. The gesture feels right, a place imagined for him, one that turns out to be for everyone.

The cooking is built around embers and the wood-fired oven. Mediterranean-inspired sharing plates, kémia, ricotta-and-spinach calzones, seafood dishes, and that roast chicken sandwich, now the house's self-declared centerpiece—the one Lombardi saved from lockdown by launching a fleeting Bambino Café. By the glass, a natural wine list that speaks to insiders without intimidating the rest, and a cocktail list crafted without excess.
