Back to work: Madrilenian tailoring and café con leche at eleven.

It is a balance that beautifully reflects the two sisters behind the brand. Sofía loves dresses, bows, and feminine silhouettes. Lucía prefers tailoring and trousers. They grew up watching their mother, a fashion designer for over thirty years, sketching her collections in the evening in front of the television.

Their mother ran her own fashion brand for over thirty years. The sisters still remember watching her sketch in the evenings at home in front of the television, and accompanying her to trade shows, surrounded by fabrics, samples, and color palettes. Yet, Sofía and Lucía initially chose different paths: the former studied journalism in Madrid before training in fashion styling and photography, while the latter attended CUNEF and went on to work for Zara and the El Corte Inglés group.

They came together in 2016 to launch Sophie and Lucie, their differences quickly proving to be the perfect creative balance: Sofía leans toward dresses, bows, and feminine silhouettes; Lucía toward trousers, tailoring, and a more masculine wardrobe. A decade later, their Lady Madrid collection pays tribute to their home city with structured lines, bold color, and that uniquely Spanish blend of elegance and effortless ease.
