Velia takes its name from an ancient tower watching over the beaches of Cilento, in southern Italy—a place dear to its founder, Flavia Verrusio, where ancient Greece and Italian artistry meet.
The designer sketches each piece herself. She then entrusts them to Italy's finest artisans, keepers of a generational savoir-faire. Couture inspiration, the finest Italian fabrics, slow fashion, and supply chains that respect both people and the planet. Named after figures of Greek mythology—Afrodite, Penelope, Electra—the designs are made to be mixed and matched at will, from one-piece to bikini.
