A house in Hyères that dares, in 2026, to bet on disconnecting. A promise kept with elegance.

Lilou: a home in Hyères tucked behind a Haussmann facade. Thirty-seven TV-free rooms, checkered hallways, and hospitality elevated to an art.

Behind its Haussmannian facade, in the heart of Hyères, Lilou is my summer home. A townhouse open to the city, where hospitality feels part family estate, part grand hotel. Thirty-seven rooms span four levels, reached through long ochre and clay corridors lined with checkerboard carpet. No televisions—a "deliberate choice of the house"—to make space for unplugging, reuniting, and long conversations. Bathrooms tiled from floor to ceiling, adorned with mirrors, 1930s ceramic basins, and geometric patterns. Louvered doors reminiscent of southern towns. And the Diptyque range for grooming.

A restaurant and a wine & cocktail bar complete the address. Just behind lies Hyères: the sea ten minutes away, the Îles d'Or a boat ride away, and the entire Côte d'Azur within driving distance.
