Perched at an altitude of 1,100 meters in the village of Valdeblore, L’Auberge de la Roche cultivates a delightful vision of mountain hospitality: few rooms, boundless nature, and no need to choose between a deep sleep and an exquisite meal.
The stay for two includes the night, the “Carte Blanche” dinner, breakfast, and, best of all, access to the outdoor bath area, open year-round: two baths—one hot, one cold—a sauna, and a cozy lounge warmed by a wood-burning stove. The package is currently offered at €515 in a room or €550 in a suite for two people. The following day, the house can prepare a picnic to take away, extending your journey into the Mercantour.
At the table, chefs Louis-Philippe Riel and Lea Widmer cook in close harmony with their terroir. The kitchen moves to the rhythm of local producers, breeders, neighboring farms, and the inn’s own summer vegetable garden.
