Matéo Garcia sculpts sound. A French designer born in 1989, trained in Fine Arts and industrial design at ENSCI-Les Ateliers, he shapes what he calls “objects of potential use”, poised between design and sculpture. From this vocabulary emerge high-fidelity speakers unlike any other.

It all began in 2009 with the Manifart collective—sound objects and multidisciplinary installations. Then came a decisive meeting with composer Roland Cahen, opening his world to sound spatialization. Commissioned sculptures followed, then a design agency, a high-performance listening system developed alongside architect and DJ Ressac, and bespoke speakers for Boiler Room and SNKRS (Nike) in 2023. In 2024, he co-founded Matéo Garcia Audio with architect Marcelo Joulia, dividing his time between his Paris agency (12th arrondissement) and his workshop in Ivry-sur-Seine.
