Ojii is the secret address of the 7th arrondissement, the younger sibling of Onii-San in the Marais, designed this time as a jewel box that courts the codes of the private club. Arthur Cohen and Olivier Leone, the two thirty-something co-founders, turned to a new generation of creators drawn from jewelry and the decorative arts: gold-leaf light fixtures by Jenna Kaes, decorative elements and brass seating stamped Ojii by Alican Icoz, acid-etched mirrors by Etienne Marc, and the red lacquer on the walls made using a traditional method inspired by a vase from the Givenchy sale. In the kitchen, chef Yuji "Taku" Mikuriya, whose path has included Papi, Enyaa and Guilo Guilo, offers exceptional nigiri, Kagoshima wagyu, soba with caviar, and teriyaki-glazed eel.
