Consuelo Castiglioni invented it all. Her successor, Francesco Risso, reinvented it all.
Marni. Milan, 1994. Luxury that refuses to take itself seriously.
Marni was founded in 1994 by Consuelo Castiglioni in Milan, a woman with no formal training in fashion, and it was precisely for that reason that she created something impossible to find anywhere else. Botanical prints, off-kilter proportions, unexpected materials, a palette that speaks at once of sophistication and play. In 2016, Francesco Risso took the helm and pushed the idea of freedom even further: community-driven collections, inclusive casting, immersive installations.
