Founded in Berlin in 2021, this female-led house designs lingerie, loungewear, and swimwear as a single, fluid wardrobe. Pieces shift effortlessly from day to night, blurring the lines between intimates and ready-to-wear. Before launching their first collection in 2022, the team spent an entire year perfecting their initial designs, including the now-signature Athena Set. It is a philosophy some clients have taken quite literally. Actress Lena Klenke recalls borrowing the Athena bra from her friend Bella before an event, wearing it on the red carpet not once, but twice before the brand even knew. In Berlin, Zodiaque chooses to find its muses in real life rather than on a pedestal: artists, friends, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, or women crossed on the street.
Artist Johanna Dumet describes the pieces as a second skin, sharing how she loves to let her lingerie peek through a half-buttoned shirt, a sheer top, or a delicate silk skirt.
It all comes together beautifully with the Aura Silk Skirt Ivory, currently in the collection: a silk skirt intimate enough for the night, polished enough for the morning after. All that is left is to find your shoes, perhaps borrow a shirt, and accept the coffee. After all, Zodiaque did warn us: from day to night.
