Nestled between the Opéra Garnier and the Tuileries, a breath from the Louvre and rue Saint-Honoré, the house has been spared Haussmann's scissors, and it shows. The façade keeps its 16th-century soul, its golden shell on the corner, its tale of Venetian ghosts. Inside, the décor unfolds what the house delicately calls "a story of Fantasy": trompe-l'œil, tapestries, theatrical furniture, an atmosphere where genres mingle as they did in Hollywood's golden age.
