Anna Condo was born in Yerevan, grew up in France, and has lived between New York and Paris since 1989. Trained as an actress at Cours Florent and the Lee Strasberg Institute, she writes and directs short and feature-length films, including an homage book to her friend, the poet Allen Ginsberg. In 2013, she rediscovered photography and chose flowers as her sole subject. Since then, she has photographed them every day, sometimes in the middle of the night, in a secret, almost telepathic conversation with her models. For Anna, the flower is not naïve: it is a portrait, a figure of strength, a feminist before its time.
