Lemaire has opened its third Paris boutique, nestled beneath the arcades of the Palais-Royal. The space, spanning a hundred square meters, occupies a cloister facing the garden, echoing the spirit of its Place des Vosges counterpart. The house, founded by Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran, reaffirms a deliberate approach to growth: selecting spaces of rich cultural resonance over a proliferation of flagship stores.
The interior favors a raw, mineral aesthetic: stone, muted greys, sheer curtains at the windows, and filtered light. The Palais-Royal, birthplace of the 19th-century shopping arcades, shaped the very art of the flâneur—a heritage Lemaire proudly embraces.
To celebrate the opening, the boutique hosts the exhibition "A Box of Impressions." Co-curated by Lou Stoppard and Sarah-Linh Tran, the show gathers 21 photographers exploring the fleeting nature of the everyday.
