From Lyon to the world. A burnout, looks posted on Facebook, and a brand that changed everything.
Delphine Reynaud worked in social services for 17 years before burnout, then reinvented herself by posting her looks on social media. What began as a Facebook page became Les Cocottes Pimp Ton Style, then, in 2024, Barnie. The name comes from an English neighbor she met as a teenager, Bernadette, whom everyone called Barnie, "she inspired elegance and chic, but also simplicity and spontaneity". The Lyon brand generates €3 million in revenue, employs more than 10 people, and cultivates a 100% digital distribution model, with cashmere, fine materials, burgundy, and navy blue as signatures. A brand that believes in the power of clothing: "It is not merely superficial, clothing gives confidence."
